Well if you've come across this page, you no doubt wish to no a little more about me than the little profile in the sidebar can contain. While I could go to great lengths talking about myself, I don't want to bore you so I will try to keep myself from rambling.
My name is Kyle Muise, and I am originally from North Syracuse, NY. When I'm home, I live there with my parents. I am the youngest of three kids and have an older brother (Kory) as well as an older sister (Emily). For school, I live in Rochester, NY. It's not exactly a long way away but it's far enough away where you feel like you're away from home. I am into guys, and I'm not exactly any kind of stereotype. Get to know me before you judge any part of my life.
I am currently a student at Rochester Institute of Technology. I'm majoring in Political Science and minoring in Journalism. I started at RIT in 2011 in the Information Technology program. However, after a year in the program, I came to realize that I couldn't see myself staying in IT for a career (and my brain didn't work in a way that I could remember programming and other IT-related concepts), so I made the switch in Fall quarter of Sophomore Year. I've been thoroughly satisfied with my decision ever since. Now the challenge is making sure I have internships/a job in the field so I can pay back the insane debt I'll have.
Why politics? Well, my interest in politics first came out while I was taking AP Government and Politics in high school. That is probably the best thing the class did for me. From that point on, politics has been a keen interest for me because of the diversity of topics, depth of fascinating content and the overall political intrigue in our everyday political discourse over the directions the country (and indeed the world) will take in my lifetime. However, I want to make one thing clear right now: I'm not going to be a politician of any kind in the traditional sense. That's the subject I always get when I say I'm a political science student, and I wanted to nip it in the bud right at the outset. I would much rather have myself a career in political analysis, commentary or something like that. I do approach politics from a progressive liberal point of view, with some socialist sympathies. I am a registered Democrat, but my views don't always line up with either Democrats or liberalism. I look forward to sharing my political observations with you!
So what about everything else? When I'm not talking politics or in school, you can usually see me enjoying the wonders of the Internet, anime, video games and spending time with my friends. I'll be talking about life, anime, video games and music in this little blog of mine, and I definitely feel like I have something to say that's worth reading. However, that doesn't mean that other things won't come along from time to time. Hopefully you'll be able to find something that interests you. I won't solely review things, but I'd like to be able to give my recommendations when I talk about something if it applies. My goal for when you leave this blog is for you to feel that you've enjoyed yourself here and found something worth reading every time you come here
Well that's about all I have to say here. Enjoy your time here at the site, and feel free to contact me with any questions, requests or recommendations you have. Thank you for reading, and as I always say: fun times are ahead!
